I think America knows the difference between immigrants that come to this country LEGALLY and others that come illegally,only one is an immigrant. Some seem to want to lump both in the same category but they never have been and never will be. Just plain facts.

easy for you to say to take responsibility for your actions..hmmm let’s go back a couple hundred years back and then 70 years back… 50 years back and finally 40 years back.
1) Slavery
2) Illegal deportion of a million Mexican Americans in the 1930s
3) Illegal imprisonment of Japanese Americans
4) Segregation of “colored people”
5) and why not, the invasion of Iraq.

How dare you compare the plight of illegal immigrant hispanics to that of black Americans, who are responsible for the cultivation and development of this country and DID NOT come here by choice nor granted asylum as the cubans are! I dare you to look up African-American inventors, or scholars, look up Langston Huges a self-educated negro who mastered the English language in prison. I have a problem with people coming here with no regard for the customs that have existed for over 300 years.

However, the Natives, Whites & Blacks that have coexisted here for centuries have no place to return to, if we lose our jobs or homes, there’s no where to return to, the countries of those clandestines should address their expatriates why is it only the responsibility of America to deal with this?

For every illegal action there is punishment or fine and then the person is left release in the society, We don’t just keep on cursing them forever. I Love Mr. Obama for this strong action he is taking. I know he might have plenty of opposition from Rich Business lobby who love treating illegals the way they have been for years. Why is it ok to adress “Hispanic” issuses specifically and not those of African Americans a driving force in this country, or Asian and Italian Americans who worked as indentured slaves on our railroads and infrastructure, this approach seems very divisive rather than inclusive. either address us as on American or address each specific group of people who make up the american population! I’m sick of this special allegiance to Hispanics.!

I guess if any human being was in their place he would want to get papers and live legally with respect as we all do.

We can no longer call these people undocumented workers because obviously they are not without documents, whether stolen, false or bought. Even NCLR touts on their website that illegals do pay taxes through false or stolen ID. Outrageous!
